Here is a list of all the plugins I’ve found useful in wordpress!

The Ones I don’t use, but you could:

SH-AutoLink
In posts and comments, it transforms predefined words automatically into hyperlinks.
(has some bugs and doesn’t work on this site….)

Theme Switcher
This Plugins Allows anyone on your site to switch between any themes on your site.
(don’t use it but if you’d like something like this, it works great!)

Custom Admin Menu
Allows full customization over the menus and submenus in the Wordpress administration area. Allows creation of more deeply nested menus, reordering, relabeling, and more.
(I decided I didn’t like it and could get around fine without)

Ones I use:

Akismet
Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under “Comments.”

runPHP
runPHP is a WordPress plug-in that enables users to embed PHP code directly into their posts.

*new* Twitter Tools
A complete integration between your WordPress blog and Twitter. Bring your tweets into your blog and pass your blog posts to Twitter. Features a Write Tweet Tab in the Write Tab, Has Post a Tweet every time you write a post, and much more.

Vipers Video Quicktags
Creates quicktags for embedding various video types, including those hosted at YouTube and Google Video, into WordPress. Really handy.

Enforce WWW Preference
Provides 301 redirects to queries with /index.php and enforces your use or non-use of www.
This is an absolute MUST for any person trying ranked in Google!
